In 2022 Sounds of Speedway Concert Series Is Celebrating It's 9th Season!

Sounds of Speedway is a concert series bringing a variety of performance styles to Wichita Falls throughout the spring and summer.

  • Bring Your Own: all performances are bring your own food and drinks (beer and wine only, please)
  • All tickets are General Admission, no reserved seating

Storytelling with Toni Simmons

Our workshop and performance is perfect for aspiring storytellers of all kinds or those who just love a good story.

With a passion for bringing the tunes of the past to the audience of today, the Lederhosen Junkies add their unique twist to the old-style folk songs of the German immigrants.

This year we are very proud to be working with multiple community arts and culture organizations to bring a varied performance program.  Each concert has been selected with care by a participating organization to meet their driving mission.

How is Sounds of Speedway funded?

We're very grateful to our sponsors for their generous support! While we do charge a ticket price to attend Sounds of Speedway concerts, a large portion of this cultural programming is funded through sponsorship and grants.
