Distance Learning is provided through our partnership with Region 9 Education Service Center. This program is available during the school year free of charge to any Region 9 school. The Region 9 ESC includes 12 counties, 37 school districts and over 37,000 students.
We bring live, interactive lessons to your classroom via internet, including supplies and lessons plans. This program gives students an opportunity to learn from professional artists and from community arts organizations. Availability is limited on a first-come first-serve basis.
We have over 50 free recorded lessons on our YouTube channel from 2020-2022. These lessons are available to the public and include a downloadable lesson plan. See all our lessons here: bit.ly/ACWF_playlists

Each year the Arts Council WF Hot Shop Teen Glass Workshop partners with Art Reaching Out to provide a free hands-on glasswork experience for 40 students from regional high schools. This program is available to any school in the Region 9 service area.
The students travel to the Carlyn Ray Designs studio in Dallas to work with two types of decorative glass processes: glass blowing and glass fusing.
Each student makes a small blown glass piece which they keep. The students also use frit and colored glass to create a public art installation. These pieces are installed in the greater Wichita Falls area so the public at large can benefit. The current installations are at the Wichita Falls Municipal Airport and the Wichita Falls Public Library/Parks & Recration Building.
We can offer customized tours for school and homeschool groups of all ages and sizes. Tours typically last between 1 to 1.5 hours and can feature a variety of arts activities from multiple local arts organizations, access to the Sculpture Garden and guided viewing of our current gallery exhibits. Please contact us for details.
We offer free access to our facilities for schools to host fine arts or performance days. Schools can utilize our full size stage at The Forum and our event hall at The Kemp. Availability is based on our existing event rental schedule. Please contact us for details.
