Ron Gordon is a self-taught nature and wildlife photographer based out of Vernon, Texas.

"I’ve taken photos most of my life but never seriously studied all of the components of photography and how they’re all tied together to make a great photo until about 12 years ago when I got into digital. I wanted more than just average vacation pictures, I wanted to create art in the process and I especially wanted to capture mother nature at her finest moment if possible while seeing places on my bucket list. Today I understand how chasing the light, subject matter, shutter speed, composition and aperture and creativity all work together to make a great photo."
