Marion Helmick: Splashes of Color

“I’m from the seaside town of Marblehead, Massachusetts. I’m number seven of eight children and survived to tell the story. In 1979 I enlisted in the United States Air Force and wasa honored to serve our country for 21 years. I now volunteer and serve as a patient companion for hospice. 

I work in multiple disciplines: wood working, steampunk style jewelry, and acrylic painting. This exhibit focuses on my acrylic paintings which are somewhat abstract and colorful. 

At 66 years old, I create and mingle in the artistic community for social interaction and keep from getting bored.” ~Marion Anne Helmick
