Audrey Jeanes: February 12 - April 17, 2027
Audrey Jeanes is an interdisciplinary artist working in Texas and attending The University of Texas at Tyler, pursuing an MFA in Studio Art. Jeanes received her BFA from The University of Texas at Arlington in Studio Art with a concentration in Painting in 2022. She has been a part of numerous group exhibitions in the DFW and East Texas region, and had her first solo feature in 2025 at the Robert R. Muntz Library on the University of Texas at Tyler campus.
Her work focuses on light and its interaction with materials, utilizing large-scale handmade paper and fabric compositions, as well as ceiling sculptures made from hardware cloth woven with the same handmade paper and fabrics. She is concerned with how to capture light and interpret it, and wishes for her works to be contemplative, allowing the viewer to reflect on their own experiences and emotions.
